We will pick up daily.

Thank You

We have all been immersed in the aftermath of the tornado, but we want to take a moment to send out a heartfelt thank you to each and every person who has pitched in and helped with the aftermath of the tornado damage. We are all so thankful to live in the very best place! Thanks to God that no one was hurt and no lives were lost.

Our County Emergency Services worked quickly and diligently to assist Sunbright. Executive Brian Langley and the County services immediately responded to assist. Executive Langley and I visited many folks to check on the damage and any immediate needs. I am so proud of how well everyone worked together to help our City.

I want to send a special thank you to our County Commissioners, Sherriff’s Department, EMS Directors, Rescue Squad, TEMA, Solid Waste Director, E911 Services, Fire Departments, City officials, Public Works officer, Plateau Electric Cooperative, local churches and all the volunteers who spend countless hours to help! I’m sure that we have missed someone, but we are just so grateful for the hours dedicated by each person!

The cleanup will not be immediate, but we are all working diligently on the ongoing effort. It will take some time to recover, but we are blessed to have the very best support in our town and our county!

We are including a list of county services, should you need to reference those at any time. Please know that this isn’t an all-inclusive list.

We are available to take your calls with questions/concerns at 423-628-5260.
